Microsoft has just made available a free trial copy of the Windows 8 version
that has been released to manufacture. i.e. the final production version. It
is the Enterprise edition and expires after 90 days. It is available in
Chinese, English, French, German, Italian, Japanese, Korean, Portuguese and
Spanish in both 32- and 64-bit versions. You will have to register. Microsoft
says it is for evaluation by developers but ordinary enthusiasts are not
blocked from trying it out. Once you get it, no product key is required. Note
from Gizmo: My understanding is this trial copy can not be upgraded when
Windows 8 is finally released on October 26.
