NEW: How to Customize These Notifications to Your Needs

Yesterday I announced that we will be moving the majority of items relating
to mobile apps from these announcements to a new mobile apps feed. This was
to better serve our mobile users and also to stop annoying our Windows users
with content not relevant to their needs. But we are going one step further.
Today I'm letting you know that we are now offering a more selective version
of this feed you are now reading. The new will feed not replace the current
feed but will be offered as an alternative. It will be just the same as the
current feed except that it won't have any items about: - Computer games -
Screensavers - Linux and Mac utilities In other words it will be just about
free Windows utilities, Windows Tips and useful free web services - a kind of
more focussed version of the current feed to which you subscribe. It will be
published 4-5 times a week rather than daily. What you need to do: If you
happy with the current mix of items in this feed you don't have to do
anything as you will still get daily notifications just like in the past. If
you want to receive the new Windows focussed feed then you should cancel your
subscription to this feed and subscribe instead to the new feed. If you
subscribe by email you can cancel using the unsubscribe link at the bottom of
every email notification. If you subscribe by RSS just delete the feed from
your RSS reader. To subscribe to the new feed by email click the following
link:

To subscribe to the new feed by RSS add the following feed address to your
RSS reader or web service:
http://feeds.feedburner.com/GizmosFreewareTopWindowsArticles The new feed
will be published 4-5 times weekly compared to 7 times a week for the
existing notifications. That's because the content is the same but with some
items such as computer games left out. Because the content is duplicated
there is no point in subscribing to both feeds. Gizmo
