Speech to text conversion is a very tricky business and even the best
commercial products give imperfect results. So I was pleasantly surprised by
the quality of this free web service that works from your browser. Using just
the microphone in my laptop it gave surprisingly good results - much better
than I thought. As ever with speech to text, the final results require
editing but the accuracy rate is high enough to make the service useful to
