Our Tech Treats editor Rhiannon, has just started a new initiative where each
week she selects a tech web site she thinks will be of interest to our
readers. This site offering free pictorial tutorials is her first selection.
You might be thinking cartoons here but actually the pictures are actually
screens shots; lots of them. This series of basic computer tutorials is part
of a research study conducted for the U.S Department of Education. They cover
Microsoft Office 2003 and 2007, Open Office, Web Layout and Web Programming.
Personally I found the tutorials agonizingly slow-paced but I'm not in the
target market which appears to be beginners and non technical users. For
those folks there is plenty on offer here and all free.
