At first glance, you might be forgiven for thinking that there's not really
much use for a program of this nature. But think again. For a start, the
program doesn't touch any of the actual messages in your mailbox. They still
remain on the server, in the state (unread or read) that they were. The
attachments remain too. There's now simply an extra copy on your PC. And
there's a built-in scheduler, so it'll automatically fetch new attachments as
soon as they arrive. Why is this useful? Because it allows you to turn your
PC into a very handy way of receiving images from friends, clients,
colleagues, family, or whoever. Just set up an email account on a free
service that the program supports, tell everyone to send their files to that
address, and they'll instantly end up on your own computer as soon as they
arrive. There are other uses too. If you're about to prune your Gmail or
Hotmail account, and remove years' worth of old messages and unwanted stuff,

of a research study conducted for the U.S Department of Education. They cover
Microsoft Office 2003 and 2007, Open Office, Web Layout and Web Programming.
Personally I found the tutorials agonizingly slow-paced but I'm not in the
target market which appears to be beginners and non technical users. For
those folks there is plenty on offer here and all free.

I used to play comp chess when I was young but lost interest when I
discovered computers (and girls :) I'm still an OK player but frankly I was
thrashed by one of the programs listed in our Best Free Computer Chess
review. The way I see it , there's no need for anybody to pay for a computer
chess program when these free ones are so good. And be aware that some of
these free programs can not only play chess but teach you how to play or
provide tuition how to improve your game.

Oh boy, I just wish I had this guide available when I first got my iPad; it
would have saved me so much time and angst. All I can say is that if you have
an iPad this is a much-read. iPhone owners will benefit too though not every
tip applies. If you have a super tip that you think should be in the list
