Cloud services, for example Dropbox, take every precaution to keep your data
secure, but things can go horribly wrong when you don't have physical control
of your documents. Check out this on-the-fly encryption which is the best way
to work with most sync or storage services in the cloud. Your programs have
direct access to the unencrypted contents of your files, and the on-the-fly

up, the smooth, client-side conversion requires no direct action by the user.

Website of the Week

Our roving editor Rhiannon says" This is is one of those sites that's been
around a long time (1998) and one I visit often. It's evolved over the years
without ever losing its focus or loss of quality. Originally created for
alpha geeks, its expanded and now covers areas like human sciences, the arts,
law and politics, Linux, Mac, and Windows. I love the layout of the main
page; 3 columns with large titles of articles that have good sized photos.
All the feature stories (far right column) include how many pages the story
has so you can choose a few pages or a longer article depending on how much
time you want to spend reading. All the titles are slightly offset from each
other making them easy to scan quickly. Head on over to get great articles,
some of which I don't see at other news sites."

If you're a fan of the Beatles, or even if you're merely familiar with their

the road outside the eponymous recording studios in London. And ever since,
fans have been keen to recreate the image for themselves. Which brings us to
the webcam, which is positioned outside Abbey Road Studios and lets you watch
the zebra crossing in real time. It's a good quality feed, too.

Best Free Web Browser - We Have a New Top Pick

Well, well, well. After years as our Top Pick in the browser section Firefox
has been bumped from the top spot. No guessing who is the new king: Google
Chrome. Our editor's choice mirrors my own experience. I was one the earliest
supporters of Firefox but after a period of rapid development Firefox seemed
to loose its way. With the arrival of Chrome four years ago Firefox started
to look lack-lustre and a while back I switched to Chrome and have never
regretted it. I still support the idea of Mozilla Firefox but the simple
reality is that Google have made a better mousetrap. Thankfully Mozilla seems
to have at last got its act together and recent versions have narrowed the
gap with Chrome. I truly hope that one day it will catch up and surpass
Chrome but I'm afraid Chrome is itself a fast evolving product so its a tough
road ahead for Firefox. - Gizmo

Easily Troubleshoot RAM-Related Problems On Your PC

There are many situations that can cause a Windows PC to misbehave, crash,
slow down, and generally not be as efficient as you might hope.  One such
situation is a shortage of working memory, or RAM.  This is different to
hard disk space, of course.  Even if you have lots of spare disk space to
store the things that you're not currently working on, you might still be
running short of RAM because a certain program, utility, driver, document
file or somesuch has been loaded. This tiny free utility will quickly tell
you whether you have a problem or not.
